NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PREVIEW: BUXTON TRAVEL UP NORTH TO FACE SPENNYMOOR

UP NEXT:

Buxton are on the road as they travel up north to face Spennymoor Town on 30th November with a 3pm kickoff.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game after winning 2-1 against Oxford City last week.

Ben Sault opened the scoring before new signing Ryan Viggars scored the winner late on.

Following the win manager John McGrath said:

"It wasn't a great game of football under harshweather conditions, though we gradually got on top.

We had injuries to contend with, but we've got a very good squad to call on and our debut makers were excellent.

Spennymoor away next week will be tough and we have new injuries to contend with, but we'll be ready."

Opposition

They play their games at The Brewery Field that has a capacity of 6700.

Spennymoor Town were founded in 2005 after merging with Spennymoor United.

The club are nicknamed The Moors.

The club finished 9th in the league last season.

They currently have 26 points from 19 games and are 12th in the league.

They haven’t lost in their last 5 games in the league and drew 2-2 in their most recent game which was against Marine.

Graeme Lee is in charge of the clubs and has previously managed Marske and Hartlepool.

One to watch

Isaac Fletcher joined Spennymoor in February this year and has gone onto be a key player in the attack.

He is the second in the top goalscorer charts so far this season with 10 goals for his club.

This has helped him pick up the player of the month award for the National League North in September.

His father Andy also played for Spennymoor.

Last Time Out

And exciting game last time out between these two sides with Buxton being forced to take the lead 3 times as they eventually won 3-2 back in December last year.
